Coco and the Scary Ice
He looks sad and not too sure where to step.. What terrible weather! Snow, freezing rain and finally a torrential downpour! Somewhere in the range of 2-3 inches of rain! I guess it could have been 20 or 30 inches of snow! Not sure which would be worse :o)
BTW - Coco hates to wear sweaters! Scooter, our other chi loves to wear sweaters and shirts, but not Coco.

Hoshi Strutting
Hoshi's turn to 'strut his stuff'. He always watches me when I have the camera (yuki refuses to look, but loves to pose - weird). Hoshi had fun off leash in the field today and loved poking his nose under the snow (looking for moles to chomp on - yeah he does that!).

Samoyed puppy - Cecilia's face
This is Cecilia, a 9 week old Samoyed puppy who belongs to a friend of mine. She is the cutest and sweetest thing. She modeled for me in the snow, which as we know given her breed, she doesn't mind doing. On the contrary she was quite sad when we got back to the car. I'm afraid my pictures don't do her justice though, given how cute and friendly she is in real life.

Rare sighting of Wild Dogs in Pilansberg National Park. There where actually 6 of them at the time photographer tried to take a snap but four of them fled away.
Carpathian Dogs
Carpathian Dogs are very friendly and open. Each time they see a new person they rush towards him and jump, and wag, and ... smile! Sweetheart managed to shoot one of a rare moments when the dog sat still.

African Wild Dogs
African Wild Dogs are also known as Painted Dogs. Their habits are similar to those of the Wolf. Their numbers have been declining in the wild in Africa and they are now the rarest large carnivore in the whole of Africa. The Calgary Zoo has a pack of six males, named Watson, Waldo, Weasley, Warner, Wilson and Wheaton.

Big Dog Auggie August and Jedediah the Chihuahua Are Best Friends
These two adorable dogs belong to my best friend Sue, and they are inseparable. Jedediah the tiny chihuahua just loves big gentle dog Auggie... it is so funny to see them chasing each other around the tree in the back yard! Auggie is such a BIG dog, and Jedediah is so tiny! (This photo was taken by my best friend Sue, and cropped, retouched and enhanced by me - red eyes removed, distracting background painted out, etc.)
Windhund - Wind Dog
Sighthounds are a family of dogs that hunt by speed and sight, rather than by scent. The family includes greyhounds, whippets, and afghans. This is Fifi, a saluki, one of the oldest dog breeds known, and originating from the Middle East, where they were used to hunt hare and gazelle.

Dog at the Taj, Agra
I am going to Agra tomorrow and have another session with Taj. I will be away for four days, as I have to spend a night at Delhi then proceed.
Let me add here, after 13 comments, I had only split second to aim and shoot, the dog was in a rush to go across, which he doesn't look like in the image. He seems to be cool, but he was in a rush. He went across.
I have reached Delhi and willbe leaving in another one hour for Agra. Will get in touch with you with some more photos from Agra, I hope I get some presentable ones.

He is my other eyes that can see above
the clouds; my other ears that hear above
the winds. He is the part of me that can
reach out into the sea.
When I am wrong, he is delighted to forgive.
When I am angry, he clowns to make me smile.
When I am happy, he is joy unbounded.
When I am a fool, he ignores it.
When I succeed, he brags.
Without him, I am only another man. With him,
I am all-powerful.
He is loyalty itself.
He has taught me the meaning of devotion.
With him, I know a secret comfort and a
private peace. He has brought me understanding
where before I was ignorant.
His head on my knee can heal my human hurts.
His presence by my side is protection against
my fears of dark and unknown things.
He has promised to wait for me...
henever...wherever--in case I need him.
And I expect I will--as I always have.
He is just my dog.

A Dogs Life
All beaches in Mexico are 'dog beach'. This is the amazing beach 20 yards from our camp site. Lola, as you can see loved it... and her travel partner, Jessie, enjoyed a romp at low tide.
Three Dog Road Trip
It's not the clearest picture, but it suits. I'm heading out on a trip and will be gone for 12 days. Hope you are all safe and sound.
And yes, I'm a bad girl. I took this while driving to the beach one morning a year or more back in time. I found this photo while seaching my hard drive the otherday too. We were heading to the beach for a walk. Nothing like salty air in the morning to get a dog excited about the day!
